Booking Terms And Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. When you make a booking, you are acknowledging and accepting on behalf of yourself and your party, the following terms and conditions of the booking.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all the details on your confirmation documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies within 48 hours of your booking.
BOOKINGS AND QUOTES
Bookings can be made online at www.byronoasis.com.au or by calling The Oasis Apartment and Treetop Houses on +61 2 6685 7390. Reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking.
Quotes are valid for 24 hours only.
Any quote given is an estimate only of price, which will be subject to a written advice on confirmation of booking. You agree to pay the rate for each night of your stay and any additional charges up until the time you have departed the accommodation. The accommodation may be occupied by you only for the period stated on the booking confirmation.
PAYMENT POLICY
Full payment is required 14 days prior to the arrival date (except peak season* and group bookings**) If payment is not received by the due date, The Oasis Apartments and Treetop Houses reserves the right to cancel the booking.
*Peak Season – A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance charged 30 days prior to arrival. Dates included are Splendour in the Grass (2nd-last weekend of July), School Holidays periods (all states/territories of Australia) Easter, Christmas and New Year Holidays.
**Group bookings of 4 apartments or more require a 25% deposit at the time of booking with the balance charged 30 days prior to arrival.
Bookings made 0-14 days before arrival date will be charged the total tariff at the time of booking and is 100% non-refundable. No changes of cancellations will be accepted for these booking.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Payments are accepted by debit/credit cards, Visa or MasterCard. All payments are only accepted in AUS dollars. All debit/credit card payments incur a 1.5% fee. Payments can be accepted via direct deposit. Please contact us for details.
RATES & CHARGES
Rates quoted are in Australian dollars and are subject to change at any time. Rates are inclusive of GST where applicable. Any verbal quote given is an estimate only of price, which will be subject to a written advice on confirmation of the booking.
Payments by debit/credit card will incur a 1.5% merchant fee. Minimum length of stay restrictions apply to certain rates during special events and peak season.
Your booking is confirmed when the tariff has been paid in full.
STANDARD CANCELLATION & CHARGES
If cancelled 0-14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, the full tariff is non-refundable.
*Peak season – If cancelled 30 days before your scheduled arrival, a 100% cancellation fee will be applied
**Group Bookings- 100% cancellation fee will be applied if the bookings are cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date.
All refunds paid to debit/credit card will incur a 1.5% merchant fee.
We reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time and issue a full refund in the event of any unforeseen circumstances. We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen cancellations.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit is held during your stay and is collected on upon your arrival date- before you can access the apartment.
The amount of taken is dependent on the apartment type ranging from $300 for an apartment ($500 for the treetops) and $1000 AUD for the Vue apartment.
This payment is taken in the form of a credit card pre-authorisation. We do not accept cash for the security deposit.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Please be aware that guests make bookings at their own risk. Any turn of events including medical reasons, inclement weather or last minute COVID 19 restrictions that fall within the non-refundable period of the booking will not be eligible for a refund.
Therefore, we strongly advise you to take out travel insurance to cover any changes to your travel plans or unforeseen cancellations.
NUMBER OF GUESTS
At no time during your booking is the number of guests staying to exceed the number booked, unless prior approval is sought and given by management.
Extra (and unpaid) overnight guests will be charged at $50 per person per night. The use of the sofa bed in any apartment is not included in the standard booking and must not be used unless prior arrangement and payment has been received.
If used during your stay, you will be charged standard extra guest charges.
CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
Standard check in time is 2.00 pm on the day of arrival and the apartment is to be vacated before 10.00 am on the day of departure.
An additional fee may be charged if you do not check out by 10.00 am.
Early arrivals and late check outs are at the discretion of Management and must be requested at the time of booking. All are request only and cannot be guaranteed.
SMOKE FREE COMPLEX
Oasis Apartments and treetop houses is a smoke free complex. There is NO Smoking in the accommodation or anywhere within the Oasis complex. This includes vaping. If there is any evidence of smoking inside the apartments you will be charged an additional $300 for a specialised clean to eliminate odours.
NO PARTY POLICY
Oasis Apartments and Treetop Houses has a No Parties policy, and a strict Noise Curfew from 9:00pm to ensure all guests enjoy their stay. (Call outs to quash noise will incur a penalty).
We do not take schoolie bookings, bachelor or bachelorette parties. We reserve the right to cancel those bookings including upon and after arrival at which time no refund will apply.
Facilities open at 7am and close no later than 9pm. These times may vary due weather conditions. For security and safety reasons, entry to the facilities after hours is strictly prohibited and penalties apply.
